Now, he has chosen to establish his permanent residence in South Florida. As reported by TMZ, Messi has acquired an impressive mansion in Fort Lauderdale worth $10.8 million. This lavish property encompasses 10,486 square feet and boasts eight bedrooms, nine-and-a-half bathrooms, as well as a backyard pool and two docks. The interior of Messi’s new home is equally impressive, with its Italian kitchen, workout room, entertainment lounge, VIP and Captain’s suites, and offices.
According to Katherine Kallergis of The Real Deal, Messi’s residence is conveniently located just five miles away from Drive Pink Stadium and Inter Miami’s training facility in Fort Lauderdale.
Messi’s arrival at Inter Miami generated significant excitement among fans, resulting in record-breaking attendance for the MLS club. It is not uncommon to spot celebrities in the stands during his matches. Notably, the seven-time Ballon d’Or winner led the team to victory in the 2023 Leagues Cup, securing their first-ever trophy.
